Reports are spreading over the Internet that Samsung maybe ready to give us the inevitable next step in cameraphone evolution, the 12 megapixel lens!  The word is Samsung will be ready to unveil this beast at the Mobile World Congress later this month, so at least we won’t have long to wait until we find out the facts behind the rumour.

According to Unwired View, who ran the story first, the 12 megapixel Samsung will get its initial launch in Europe, but their Korean source had no firm details on other features or possible form factor the phone would take.

T-Mobile dropped the Supernova name, but it's the same Nokia 7510 you're familiar with. Noah gets the branded version with myFaves and HotSpot@Home support, a full HTML browser, and 2MP camera. Check out that cool hidden display ... and it matches Kravvy's outfit!

If you dislike being handcuffed to iTunes to feed your podcast-lovin' ears, this solution's for you: RssPlayer invokes streaming audio from RSS feeds, so you can listen or download for offline use.

Sadly rewinding or fast forwarding isn't possible, and you can't use it to find feeds. On the plus side, RssPlayer does remember where you were in the audio when phone calls and interruptions pop up (which is my main gripe with Stitcher Radio).

Not sure if you need something like this? At the bargain basement price of ZERO, there's nothing to lose in trying it out. But act fast — According to the App Store page, it's only free for today. Then it will be $4.99.

When I saw something in the Android Market called cupcake, I probably had the exact reaction the developers had planned: "Could it be an optional beta upgrade to some of the features listed in a coder's development branch called Cupcake, or is it a clever misdirection aimed at impatient people who don't read instructions?" Well, I actually tapped it in disbelief about three words into that hypothetical inner dialog.

Cupcake, the app, is a free-for-all message board written out of frustration by ANT devs for those who like to post nonsense, spam, and worse in the Market's comment system. As the description states, feedback is meant for coders - they want to know what kind of experiences you have with their software. They want to know if you encounter bugs, if you like the layout, etc. They don't want to know your phone number and MySpace URL.

It turns out that the effort has worked to some extent. I can't say I see a noticeable difference in the content of the Market feedback system, but cupcake is getting precisely the kinds of traffic it was intended for.
