People who use an HTC Tattoo should find the following trick helpful. It’s designed to make it simpler for you to send emails or text messages to more than one person at a time. This is done by creating groups in your phone and then sending the message to the group. To create groups in your HTC Tattoo:
- Select the MENU button.
- From here, select “all programs”.
- You will see an option labeled “people”. Select this option.
- You will see an option labeled “groups”. Select this option.
- Create a name for your group.
- Select all of the people that you want to add to a particular group.
Once you have created groups, you will be able to send email and SMS messages to the name of the group. These messages will go out to everyone in the group so that you no longer have to enter all of the names separately in the “To” field of emails or send all of the texts separately. This simplifies things for people who often send the same message multiple times.

What’s S Life? That’s the question Samsung posed, and in its media event this morning, the company answered: It’s the Smart life, silly. That is, they say, if you’re smart enough to get the Galaxy S, which is launching globally (including in the U.S.).
It features stuff like Daily Brief (which puts several live updating widgets on one page, for a smart view — see? There’s that word again!), fast text input with Swype and, thanks to Android 2.1, Google Maps Navigation.
Noah’s got the goods with a hands-on demo (so catch it here), but for those who like their cell phone pr0n via still images, here are a few shots of the 1GHz-packing, 16 GB–storing, 4” Super AMOLED–displaying, wafer-thin phone.

The Samsung Jet, Apple iPhone and many others have a great feature to help you get out of meetings, and any other awkward situation, the application in question is Fake Call. This nifty tool lets you ring yourself; you can even go as far as recording a message to play down the phone, to relieve any suspicions.
So, if you want to go the whole hog and truly fake call yourself, then the first thing you need to do is record a message.
- Go to the Main Menu and open up Settings.
- Click on Application Settings and head to Call options, in here you should find Fake Call, then Fake Call Voice.
- Turn the Fake Call Voice option On and hit record.
- Talk into the mic as you would with a normal voice call, then hit the end button to stop.
- Choose Set Recording for Fake Call.
- Hit Save.
Now to set up the Fake Call function.
- Go to the Main Menu and head to Setting, go to Application Settings, Call, Fake Call and choose Fake Call timer.
- Pick how long you want between activating the feature and receiving the voice call.
- Click Save
To make the voice Call all you need to do is hold the volume key down while the phone is locked and in idle mode, wait for the set amount of time to pass and then act surprised when you get the call.
